It’s a grey day, mirroring my mood, but here are some cheerful marsh marigolds (by a pond that could probably do with a little TLC. At least I got rid of the plastic heron).
@helenclayton
We had some sun earlier - while my ankle was playing up - and now it's windy as ffuck and about to rain. I have given up and made cake
@fkamiah17 . We had some sun early on but grey and drizzling now.
Bugger about the ankle. No park run for you today!
I am also making cake. I just had to wait for the Asda delivery as I didn’t have enough sugar. Fortunately I hadn’t got to a crucial stage. Rhubarb cornmeal cake. How about you?
@helenclayton Nope, no walk, no run, no nuttin'. Just cake
Rhubarb and crystallised ginger, in the oven as we speak. Nom nom.
Do you want a film?
@fkamiah17 you’re doing rhubarb too! Like minds and all that.
I could probably do with a film but I couldn’t tell you what. Still haven’t found your list . I’ll have a ponder.
@helenclayton OK, off the top of my head I'm going to recommend three things that might fit your general mood atm:
Cairo Time:
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0896529/
Booksmart:
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1489887/
Hunt for the Wilderpeople:
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt4698684/
All joyous in their own way.
@fkamiah17 the hunt for the wilderpeople I’ve seen (a previous care package from you ). But I’ll give booksmart a go…looks fun. Not sure I’m in the mood for a love story
.
@helenclayton Ooh, hang on! Maybe you'd prefer one of these two period dramas ...
The Duchess:
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0864761/
Miss Pettigrew Lives For A Day:
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0970468/
(sorry if I've already sent you either of these )
@fkamiah17 ooh the duchess I’ve seen but miss pettigrew looks good
@helenclayton Just doing a link now
