You would be welcome in Scotland. We're still shielded from the worst of the relentless cruelty south of the border (but that's obviously under sustained attack - this time from the "progressive socialists" in London).
@MadeyeTheCarnaptious This is really very mild compared to the increases over the border, and considering they're increases on quite small amounts in the first place, relatively speaking. I was mostly making a point about how little help PIP is already in the face of mounting living costs, and how it's not even pretending to keep pace. I'll be fine. Unless it gets cancelled. Then I'll be fucked.
It's a mess. The equivalent payment in Scotland, the ADP or Adult Disability Payment, is radically different in terms of eligibility criteria and continues to be index linked (I think) - but the Scottish Government budget is under huge pressure....
