@HarriettMB Well when your only experience of the "jobs market" for the last 15 years is the revolving door between Westminster and the City, it makes sense 
No one seems to mention that there are already fewer jobs than unemployed people ...
I think I saw some stats saying there's like 1.4 million jobs available. There's roughly 2.3 million people with no work requirements on universal credit (limited capability) and about 1.4 million searching for work. There's about 3.7 million people on pip.
So yeah. More people than there is jobs.
@VulpineDruid @HarriettMB Yeah, that's about it. I think I saw 1.6mn unemployed though, but obviously that's gone up a fair bit now
Those stats are from 2024 because it goes in line with the tax year, so its going to be different now.
But there's definitly not enough jobs for people. I guess we should share?

Well considering they want more military. Yeah... Probably. Workhouses to make military stuff probably.
@VulpineDruid @HarriettMB And Kendall already said last week that the under 22s who would no longer qualify for PIP etc would be "encouraged" to join the army.
