Twenty-two years today and still walking around, shilling for dictators like it ain't no thing.
@fkamiah17 Not to mention destroying the two party system at home.
@woe2you Good point.
Blair always matched and sometimes beat Bill Clinton in hypocrisy and greed. It continues. The man has no self reflection or awareness of how despicable he became with his fake accents and all.
@fkamiah17 It baffles me that there are still parts of the labour party that think that was their greatest hour and that if they can only find the right mechanism they can bring him back. If we turn all the crosses upside down, sing the forbidden words of Mandelson, necromancy Gordon brown back into a rare intervention and under a full moon with the dark spirit of Maggie in the 4th house we can have 1997 back again.
@piglet I don't think that's even what they want now. They've gone full neolib. Keith's so far up Trump's arse he's got teeth marks on his face.
@fkamiah17 I think the trumpist cabal around keef is a lot smaller than the bring back Tony crowd, the "doing it because it seems to be what the focus groups say" crowd Vs the labour friends of the heritage foundation cabal
@piglet Yeah, it certainly feels like the Trumpists have the upper hand, but Tony's still there in the background, so who knows how far down that road he's gone since he's been selling his arse to the Saudis for the last two decades.
